Day 10. Mitchell Falls, Helicopter Flight.
Discover the beauty of Mitchell Falls, with its magnificent tiered waterfalls and Indigenous rock art. Begin with a guided hike to Little Mertens Falls to view rarely seen Indigenous art. Continue to Big Mertens Falls before arriving at the incredible Mitchell Falls. Enjoy an included helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls and the surrounding wilderness. If you prefer, you can hike back to the vehicle with your guide. BLD
Day 11. Bradshaw (Gwion Gwion) Art, King Edward River, Drysdale River Station.
Visit Wandjina and Bradshaw (Gwion Gwion) rock art galleries and swim in the clear waters at King Edward River. Cross the beautiful Drysdale River and arrive at Drysdale River Station, where you will enjoy a unique stay at this historic cattle property. Stay: Drysdale River Station. BLD
Day 12. Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Gibb River Road.
At beautiful Manning Gorge, you’ll enjoy lunch in the shade of a boab tree. Continue to Galvans Gorge, where a short walk leads to a picturesque waterhole where boab trees cling to the escarpment above. Afterwards, arrive at Bell Gorge Wilderness Lodge in time for dinner. Day 13. Bell Gorge, Hiking and Swimming.
Back on the Gibb River Road, travel to Bell Gorge, where stunning cliffs surround a series of tiered waterholes. Sitting approximately 300 metres above sea level, Bell Gorge is an idyllic natural spot for swimming and photography. Should you be feeling particularly energetic, you can hike to the lower pool of the gorge and enjoy a relaxing dip below the cascading waterfall. BLD

Day 16. Adele Island, Buccaneer Archipelago.
Arrive at Adele Island today, an important area for breeding seabirds like the Lesser Frigatebird and the Brown Booby. Later, cruise through Buccaneer Archipelago’s islands before dinner. BLD
Day 17. Talbot Bay, Horizontal Falls.
Embark on a high-powered fast boat ride at the unique Horizontal Falls. Later, take a Zodiac excursion to Cyclone Creek and keep an eye out for native birdlife. BLD
Day 18. Raft Point, Doubtful Bay, Montgomery Reef.
Cruise through Doubtful Bay and then visit a Wandjina art site at Raft Point before witnessing the magnificent Montgomery Reef ‘rise’ out of the ocean. Board your Zodiac to experience this natural phenomenon up close. BLD
Day 19. Careening Bay, Prince Regent Reserve, St George’s Basin.
Visit Careening Bay, the home of the Mermaid boab tree. Explore Prince Regent Nature Reserve, a protected area, and cruise St George’s Basin. BLD
Day 20. Prince Frederick Harbour, Hunter River.
Arrive at Prince Frederick Harbour, home to soaring red cliffs and an incredible range of wildlife including saltwater crocodiles, then explore the Hunter River. BLD
Day 21. Bigge Island.
Bigge Island is well known for its Indigenous rock art, which was created by the Wunambal people. In caves throughout the island, see examples of first contact art and the mysterious Wandjina figures. BLD
Day 22. Vansittart Bay, Jar Island.
Take a walk across salt flats to view the wreckage of a US Air Force DC3, which crash landed on the beach during World War II. Later, visit Jar Island and discover its Bradshaw (Gwion Gwion) rock art gallery. BLD
Day 23. Koolama Bay, King George River and Falls.
Wake up in Koolama Bay before arriving at King George River. The highlight is sure to be King George Falls. BLD
Day 24. At sea.
Relax and enjoy your ship’s facilities. BLD
Day 25. Disembark Ship, Depart Darwin.
Disembark in Darwin after breakfast and be transferred to the airport or to your hotel. B
