The Wilderness Park provides a range of activities including gorge cruises on the Chamberlain River, trips to naturally heated thermal pools, horse riding and barramundi fishing in helicopters.

 

Located in the East Kimberley, El Questro is 700,000 acres of vast and stunningly beautiful terrain. This diverse landscape extends 80 kilometres north to south and 60 kilometres east to west and is mostly unexplored.

If you enjoy camping but would like a few more home comforts then consider the rows of tented cabins with en suite bathrooms, accompanied by a swimming pool and onsite restaurant at El Questro Emma Gorge. If sleeping under canvas is the only way for you to experience Kimberley then El Questro Station has something to offer all campers. Choose from a general camping pitch, private camping spots down by the Pentecost River, permanently pitched and powered tents and even air conditioned rooms with private bathrooms and garden or river views. Powered and non-powered caravan pitches are also located in the El Questro Station camp grounds, the choice is yours.

Emma Gorge Resort offers comfortable accommodation in superior safari style Tented Cabins with all the facilities you would expect from a resort – a pool, great restaurant and a unique location.

Our tented cabins allow you to stay in The Kimberley in style, while still remaining close to nature, in complete harmony with the surrounding landscape.  The raised roofs of the tented cabins allow tropical sounds and scents to filter in as you drift off to sleep. And the canvas outer can be rolled up in parts, to assist the flow of a natural breeze through the cabins.

Beds are fitted with crisp, quality linen and comfortable pillows, while fans help make warmer nights more restful. All Tented Cabins have their own private en suite bathroom facilities.

Bedding includes one Queen bed and two single beds, maximum 4 people.

Stay in a room located on the banks of the Pentecost River where it flows through The Station, the hub of El Questro Wilderness Park.  Our Riverview and Gardenview rooms are conveniently located next to the Steakhouse Restaurant and the Swinging Arm Bar and are only a short stroll away from a peaceful swimming hole.

Ideal for those travelers who want to be at the centre of the action and close to all of El Questro's activities, the bungalows are great for families, as well as those who prefer a few extra comforts.

Providing air conditioned comfort with private facilities, our eight Station Riverview Rooms are stylishly decorated with polished floorboards and private balconies overlooking the river. Conveniently located next to the Steakhouse Restaurant and the Swinging Arm Bar, these rooms overlook the Pentecost River and are just a short stroll from a peaceful swimming hole. Bedding includes 1 Queen bed, 1 Single bed and 1 Trundle bed (maximum occupancy of 4 guests, with a maximum of 3 adults per room).
