From the great stretch of sand that is Broome to the joys of meeting dolphins on the Coral Coast and the elegance of Perth’s beaches, this is the perfect journey for those wanting to discover the coastline of Western Australia. Explore the diversity of culture and lifestyle throughout the Pilbara as you make your way down the coast. Learn about the great mining towns, visit the waterfalls of Karijini National Park and discover the turquoise wonder of Ningaloo Reef. A trip to Rottnest Island is the perfect way to cap off the journey.



Western Australia’s very own island getaway, located just 19 kilometres off the coast of Fremantle, Rottnest features a Mediterranean-style climate and indigenous flora and fauna, providing a spectacular experience to conclude your tour. Sundowners Head to the Ningaloo Reef Resort’s bar for a drink and watch the trawlers head out to begin their evening’s work. Between August and November see the humpback whales relaxing in the calm waters of the Gulf.


Day 1 - Broome
Highlights: Welcome
Welcome to Broome with its long stretches of white sandy beaches and tropical waters. Your two night stay is at Broome. Tonight meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers.

Day 2 - Broome
Highlights: Freechoice and Freechoice Dining
Freechoice  Choose between a tour of Broome on a Harley Davidson Trike or riding camels along the famous Cable Beach. Alternatively, learn about the pearling industry in Broome with your visit to Willie Creek Pearl Farm or enjoy a hovercraft tour along the coast.
Freechoice Dining  Dine at Sunset Bar and Grill, Rambutans Malaysian restaurant or Zanders, all on Cable Beach.

Day 3 - Broome > Port Hedland
Highlights: The Pilbara
Discover the Pilbara and be awestruck by the sheer age and enormity of some of the world’s most ancient natural landscapes. See Port Hedland’s harbour before your overnight stay.

Day 4 - Port Hedland > Karijini National Park
Highlights: Karijini National Park
Explore the ancient gorges and sheer waterfalls of Karijini National Park. Visit Fortescue Falls and the Dale and Joffre Gorges for astounding views. Experience the rustic Karijini National Park for your overnight stay.

Day 5 - Karijini National Park > Karratha
Highlights: Tom Price Iron Ore Mine
Put on your hard hat for a tour of the Mt Tom Price iron ore mine. View the spectacular Hamersley Range with its sheer walls of rock, layered in many colours. Stay at Karratha tonight.

Day 6 - Karratha > Exmouth
Highlights: North West Gas Project
Follow the pristine coastline of the Coral Coast south. Visit the North-West Gas Project Visitors Centre at Dampier. Your home for the next two nights is the gorgeous Exmouth.
Sundowners  Enjoy a drink at the resort’s bar and watch the trawlers head out to begin their evening’s work.

Day 7 - Exmouth
Highlights: Ningaloo Reef
Start your day with a Ningaloo Reef coral viewing cruise to discover spectacular marine life, magnificent coral gardens and a kaleidoscope of colourful fish. Visit historic Vlamingh Head Lighthouse for stunning views over Lighthouse Bay.

Day 8 - Exmouth > Carnarvon
Highlights: Coral Bay
Explore Coral Bay where the turquoise blue of the ocean meets the sandy bay with Ningaloo Reef underneath. You’ll spend the night at Carnarvon.

Day 9 - Carnarvon > Monkey Mia
Highlights: Hamelin Pool Stromatolites
Travel to Hamelin Pool to see the world’s best known colony of stromatolites. Accommodation for the next two nights is at Monkey Mia.

Day 10 - Monkey Mia
Highlights: Freechoice  
This morning you have an opportunity to see the dolphins under the supervision of a national park ranger.
Freechoice  Cruise through Shark Bay searching for dugong or sail into the sunset. Alternatively dine on damper as you listen to stories of the Dreamtime.

Day 11 - Monkey Mia > Geraldton
Highlights: Kalbarri National Park
See Shell Beach formed by billions of tiny white seashells, then continue on to the magnificent Kalbarri National Park. Stop at Hawks Head for views of the Murchison River gorges. At Geraldton visit the HMAS Sydney memorial. Overnight stay Geraldton

Day 12 - Geraldton > Perth
Highlights: The Pinnacles
Be amazed at the Pinnacles today as part of your visit to Nambung National Park. Continue to Perth where you will love its cosmopolitan nature. Enjoy a special stay for your last two nights.

Day 13 - Perth
Highlights: Freechoice and Farewell dinner
Freechoice  Journey to Rottnest Island for a chance to spot the unique quokka or partake in a food and wine trail through the pretty Swan Valley. Alternatively, cruise to the Port of Fremantle or enjoy an Upper Swan Valley lunch cruise.

Day 14 - Perth
Highlights: Farewell
